The Barbados Olympic Association Inc. will be hosting a Sports Administrators Course from December 2019 to February 2020. The course will begin on Monday, 09 December 2019 at 5.30 p.m. at Olympic Centre, Wildey, St. Michael.

The Sports Administrators Course is a basic course which is offered to assist National Federations with building capacity and improving efficiency in the management of their organizations. It will prepare sports administrators to deal with the demands of managing sport in an environment that is changing constantly. It is also a prerequisite for the Advanced Sports Management Course.
Topics to be presented include, The Olympic Movement, Governance of National Sport Organizations, Financial Management and Budgeting, Strategic Planning, Anti-Doping and Organizing a Major Event.
This course is organized for persons who have not been trained in Sports Management. Please note that a maximum of thirty participants can be accommodated in the course.
