ABOUT GYMNASTICS

BAGA is the umbrella organization for gymnastics in Barbados. It is affiliated with the Barbados Olympic Association (BOA). It is part of the Pan-American Gymnastics Union (PAGU), the gymnastics body for our region, and the Federation Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG), the worldwide gymnastics body.

BAGA aids gymnasts and coaches by partially funding gym meets, both overseas and finally one in Barbados this year, as well as training camps for coaches and gymnasts. BAGA also takes part in PAGU and FIG events and workshops.

BAGA raises funds through various events such as bake sales, raffles and auctions, as well as private sector sponsorships and donations and assistance from the BOA and other sports and tourism organizations.
