Presidents and Secretaries of National Federations are reminded that\u00a0applications are due for the 2015 International Sessions for Young Participants of the International Olympic Academy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Sessions will be held in Olympia, Greece in May 2015.<\/p>\n

Your Federation would already have received this notification in December 2014.<\/p>\n

The Barbados Olympic Association Inc will provide full travel expenses for one male and one female candidate to attend the Sessions.<\/p>\n

Please note the age requirement of the candidates for the Sessions.<\/p>\n

Interested applicants should submit\u00a0a one page essay to the Barbados Olympic Association Inc
\nin which they indicate why they would be the most suitable candidate for selection.<\/p>\n

The deadline for submission of applications is Friday January 30, 2015.<\/p>\n

MAIN TOPIC \u201cOlympic Movement\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

SPECIAL TOPIC \u201cOlympic Movement: The process of renewal and adaption\u201d.<\/em>
\nParticipants should be strictly 20 to 35 years old and should have shown a special interest in the aims of the IOA, as well as in current issues of Olympism.<\/p>\n

In case a participant is under or over the age limit, kindly note that the IOA will be forced to cancel his\/her participation at any time during the session.<\/p>\n
