The Barbados Olympic Association Inc. (BOA) was honoured to host the Governor General of Barbados H.E Dame Sandra Mason.
The Governor General was welcomed by the staff and directors of the BOA, and met privately with President of the BOA Sandra Osborne SCM QC, Vice-President, Ralph Johnson GCM and Assistant General Secretary, Cameron Burke.
Executive Director of the Caribbean RADO, Sasha Sutherland went on to share some of their initiatives and policies with the Governor General. This was then followed by a tour of the BOA’s National Olympic Museum.
To thank the Governor General for her visit, BOA Director Esther Maynard presented her with a jewellery piece she handcrafted in the national colours of Barbados.
