National Coaching Certification Program: Level 1 Coaching Clinics

The Barbados Olympic Association Inc will be scheduling  two Coaching Certification Clinics in collaboration with the Coaching Association of Canada. These clinics will lead to a Canadian National Coaching Certification :  NCCP Level 1 Certification.

Each Clinic will be 18 contact hours in duration. In order to receive certification in this clinic, the participants are required to attend the clinic in its entirety. There are no exceptions to this requirement.

Over a period of time our goal is to train a cadre of Level 1 Coaches, who will then have the opportunity to continue their training to NCCP  Level 2 Certification. Access to Level 2 will be Certification at Level 1.  Level 1 Clinics will start in June and July 2015.

 

The first NCCP Level 1 Clinic is scheduled for Friday 26 to Sunday 28 June at the Wildey Gymnasium. The times are: 

Friday 26 June:                    2.00 to 8.00pm

Saturday 27 June:                  9.30 am to 5.30pm

Sunday 28 June:                    9.30 am to 4.30 pm

The second NCCP Level 1 Clinic is scheduled for Friday 17 to Sunday 19 July at the Barbados Workers Union Auditorium. The times are:

Friday 17 July:                        2.00 to 8.00pm

Saturday 18 July:                   9.30am to 5.30pm

Sunday 19 July:                      9.30am to 4.30pm

Please note each Clinic carries its individual Registration Form. This allows the Coach to attend either of the two clinics.  Registration Forms must be signed by the participating coach and emailed/delivered to the Office of the Barbados Olympic Association Inc by the deadline dates.

Each Clinic will be limited to a Maximum of 50 Coaches.
