Dave Farmer Director National Olympic Academy (Former)


Since 2008, Mr. Dave Farmer has been responsible for moulding the Academy into the institution that it is today.  His responsibilities include the development and implementation of educational programs for athletes, coaches, managers, and all stakeholders in the sport fraternity.

He is also responsible for bidding for Olympic Solidarity and Panam Sports funding programs to assist athletes.  In his role, he also developed and facilitates Museum Tours for primary, secondary schools as well as special interest groups and manages the Library and Resource Centre.

Before the BOA, Mr. Farmer was the Principal of Westmoreland School in Grenada where he was responsible for the overall management of the school.  His duties included the employment and deployment of staff, daily operations, financial management, budget preparation, staff development and training, and teaching.

Mr. Farmer retired from his role as the National Olympic Academy Director in 2019.
