ABOUT RUGBY

The Barbados Rugby Football Union (BRFU) was formed in 1964 with its headquarters, Rugby Club House, located at the Garrison Savannah. The Barbados Rugby Football Union, led by Andy Voss, was one of the founding members of the Caribbean Rugby Football Union.

The Barbados Rugby Union was the first and only team on the island for some years, participating in a number of Caribbean Championships. Rugby will be staged at the Trents Playing Field and Frederick Smith Secondary, 9 a.m- 5 p.m, December 10 and 11. Local players will face international rugby competitors.
