ABOUT SAILING

The Barbados Sailing Association (BSA) was formed in 1968 to promote, govern and lead the sport of sailing in Barbados. The goal is to promote the sport of sailing within the island to the entire population and provide high-quality teaching and coaching to those interested in the sport.

Sailing takes place at the Beach Games on November 20. A trapezoid course with the turning mark very close to shore in front of Pirates Cove will allow for good shoreside viewing. The classes will be Laser Standard, Radial and 4.7, Sunfish, Topper and GP14. The Topper and GP14 are 2 person dinghies.
