Sandra Osborne, a Queen’s Counsel and Chartered Secretary, was first elected a Director of The Barbados Olympic Association Inc. in 2012 prior to being elected President in 2017. She is the Honorary Legal Advisor and Chair of the Governance and Integrity Committee of the Commonwealth Games Federation, a member of the International Tennis Federation’s Women in Sport Committee, and Deputy Chair of the Barbados National Anti-Doping Commission Appeals Panel. She currently also serves as Legal Advisor to the Committee of Appeals of the Central American and Caribbean Tennis Confederation. Ms Osborne is a former Vice-President and Director of the Barbados Tennis Association Inc and Secretary of the Barbados Amateur Swimming Association. She was awarded the Barbados National Honour of Silver Crown of Merit in 2006 in recognition of her contribution to the development of electronic trading and settlement for the Barbados capital market and was appointed a Queen’s Counsel of Barbados in 2007. She was awarded the National Sports Council 2012 Sports Administrator Award.
