ABOUT SURFING

The Barbados Surfing Association (BSA) was formed in 1983. The BSA’s goals are focused towards improving the level of surfing on the island. Their aim is to remain consistent and to continue to be recognised as a surfing nation. Some of their recent achievements include Chelsea Tuach placing 4th at the 2013 International Surfing Association’s World Junior Championship and winning the North-American Junior Tour for professionals. The Surfer of the Year Series will take place at the Soup Bowl Bathsheba, on December 10.
