ABOUT WRESTLING

The Barbados Wrestling Association (BWA) was founded in May 2008 with the sole mission to organize, excite and inspire athletes to achieve success at the Olympic Games. Over the years it has continuously provided competition in three wrestling disciplines: submission, beach and freestyle. The 50th Independence Wrestling Championships is slated for November 20, 2016, at Pirate’s Cove, 10 a.m until 3 p.m.
