The National Olympic Academy of the Barbados Olympic Association Inc. will be hosting a Sport Administrators Course from Tuesday, 22 September 2020 to Saturday, 24 October 2020. Given the constraints of the current environment, the course will be conducted online for the first time. Sessions will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. [There will be a session on Friday, 25 September at 6:00 p.m.].
The Sport Administrators Course is a basic programme that is offered to assist National Federations with building capacity and improving efficiency in the management of their organizations. It will prepare sport administrators to deal with the demands of managing sport in an environment that is changing constantly. It is also a prerequisite for the Advanced Sport Management Course.
This course is organized primarily for Board Members of National Federations, and persons serving on sub-committees, who have not been trained in Sport Administration. Executive members of affiliated sports clubs may also attend. Please note that a maximum of thirty participants will be accommodated in the programme.
