Barbados Commonwealth Games contingent left for Glasgow Scotland on Thursday July 17, 2014.  The majority of the teams were present, however, Rugby, and some other athletes will be joining the group in Scotland.  Barbados will be contesting twelve sports: Aquatics, Athletics, Badminton, Boxing, Cycling Road andTrack, Judo, Netball, Table Tennis, Weightlifting, Shooting, Rugby and Triathlon.  The team was led by assistant Chef de Mission, Gail Craig Archer.  The Chef de Mission Cameron Burke is already in Scotland preparing for the team.
