Presidents and Secretaries of National Federations are reminded that applications are due for the 2015 International Sessions for Young Participants of the International Olympic Academy.
The Sessions will be held in Olympia, Greece in May 2015.
Your Federation would already have received this notification in December 2014.
The Barbados Olympic Association Inc will provide full travel expenses for one male and one female candidate to attend the Sessions.
Please note the age requirement of the candidates for the Sessions.
Interested applicants should submit a one page essay to the Barbados Olympic Association Inc
in which they indicate why they would be the most suitable candidate for selection.
The deadline for submission of applications is Friday January 30, 2015.

MAIN TOPIC “Olympic Movement”
SPECIAL TOPIC “Olympic Movement: The process of renewal and adaption”.
Participants should be strictly 20 to 35 years old and should have shown a special interest in the aims of the IOA, as well as in current issues of Olympism.
In case a participant is under or over the age limit, kindly note that the IOA will be forced to cancel his/her participation at any time during the session.
Moreover, they should have a genuine interest in the educational aspects of the activities organized in the course of the Session.
