The International Day of Sport for Development and Peace was conceptualized to highlight the importance sport plays to the development of a society both physically and socially, as well as to promote the impact sport plays to the bringing of communities together in an effort to promote peace. Annually, April 6 is designated as the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace and will be celebrated worldwide.
This initiative to partner with the Pinelands Creative Workshop, seeks to solidify the support the BOA Inc. has for using sport as a catalyst for social development and change. The days activities will comprise Athletics and 2 Soccer matches. National Federations are all welcome to bring along a group or Team to register to take part in the days activities.
