The U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC) in conjunction with Olympic Solidarity will be conducting a high-level coaching education course through the International Coaching Enrichment Certificate Program (ICECP).
The Barbados Olympic Association will recommend one candidate for an Olympic Solidarity scholarship to participate in the course. Interested coaches are invited to submit their applications no later than Monday, 13 April 2020 to the Director, National Olympic Academy, at vdcadogan@olympic.org.bb and copied to info@olympic.org.bb. Please note that all applications must be accompanied by a letter of endorsement from the National Federation.
Candidates should be prepared to attend an online interview on Thursday, 16 April 2020.

The course is targeted at national level coaches wishing to further their knowledge and implement change in their national coaching structure through a personal project. It also provides an opportunity to learn from other international elite coaches.
The program includes a virtual component, an intensive coaching education and leadership program taught by USOPC’s sport science and coaching performance experts, project development support from designated international tutors and an apprenticeship experience with
U.S. national teams or equivalent high-level clubs or NCAA universities. Attached is a brochure which outlines all the relevant details and a document with specific information for candidates.
