The Barbados Olympic Association Inc. (BOA) invites female coaches from all national sporting federations to join an upcoming professional development session under its Coaches Community of Learning (CCOL) initiative.
Facilitated by leaders from the Women in Sport High-Performance Pathway Programme (WISH), this interactive session—entitled “Pathways to High-Performance Coaching”—is tailored to empower women in sport, develop leadership capacity, and outline clear routes to elite coaching.
Featured presenters Linda Low, Programme Director & Lead Coach Mentor, WISH, and Dr. Jane Booth, WISH UK Facilitator, will share insights into the journey towards high-performance coaching, the leadership competencies required for success, and practical strategies to help coaches advance within the sporting landscape.
Coaches will also have the opportunity to engage in discussions, network with fellow coaches and exchange experiences that support continued professional growth and development.
The BOA encourages national federations to share this opportunity with their female coaching personnel and support their involvement in this professional development initiative.
