The Barbados Olympic Association Inc. (BOA), through the National Olympic Academy, invites applications from coaches, club members, and sports practitioners across all sporting disciplines for the upcoming Caribbean Coaching Certification Programme (CCCP) Levels 1 and 2.
Designed and developed by and for Caribbean coaches since 1998, the CCCP is an entry-level, competency-based initiative aimed at elevating the knowledge and performance standards of local and regional coaching professionals. The programme serves as the foundational tier in the Barbados Coaching Pathway Framework, delivering essential instruction in general coaching principles.
Programme Details & Schedule
All training sessions will take place at the Garfield Sobers Gymnasium, Garfield Sobers Complex, Wildey, St. Michael.
- CCCP Level 1: Thursday, September 17, 2026 – Sunday, September 20, 2026
- CCCP Level 2: Wednesday, October 14, 2026 – Saturday, October 17, 2026
Session Times:
- Wednesdays & Thursdays: 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM
- Fridays: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Sundays: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Applicant Requirements & Logistics
- Target Audience: Active and prospective coaches, sports leaders, club members, and individuals within National Federations.
- Equipment: All participants must bring a laptop to each session.
- Meals: Lunch will be provided for the Saturday sessions only.
