The Barbados Olympic Association Inc. (BOA), in partnership with the Coaching Association of Canada, is once again opening the doors to high-quality coach development. Following two successful sessions earlier this year, the BOA is thrilled to announce that the third National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Level 1 course of 2025 will take place from Friday, July 18 to Sunday, July 20 at the Barbados Olympic Centre.
This three-day certification is designed for coaches looking to sharpen their skills, deepen their knowledge, and elevate the standard of coaching across Barbados’ national sports landscape. Whether you are mentoring youth athletes or preparing teams for international competition, NCCP Level 1 lays the foundation for coaching excellence.
Schedule at a Glance:
- Friday, July 18 – 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Saturday, July 19 – 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Sunday, July 20 – 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The BOA is calling on all National Federations to nominate at least one (1) coach to participate in this important certification opportunity. With growing demand and limited space, early registration is essential. The registration deadline is Friday, July 11, 2025.
This is more than just a course; it is a chance to be part of Barbados’ evolving coaching community. The Level 1 sessions earlier in the year brought together passionate coaches from across the island to learn, connect, and inspire. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this movement.
