The Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training, in collaboration with Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation and Starcom Network Inc., presents Pontifications & Poetry 2024.
The annual oratorical prepared speech and poetry contest/showcase is hosted as part of the celebrations for Education Month. This year, the Barbados Olympic Association Inc. is sponsoring the Sports Category, promoting the concept of sport for all.
Each participant must prepare and UPLOAD via Teacher/Focal Point an ORIGINAL poem (Primary Schools) OR speech (Secondary Schools) on any aspect/issue relating to the selected theme for Education Month – ‘Transforming Education: Making a Way for All’ or ANY suitable area of choice.
