Registration for the National Olympic Academy of Barbados’ (NOA) Sports Administrators Course, scheduled to run from October 8 to November 2, 2024, is now closed. Due to overwhelming demand, the NOA has closed registration ahead of the original deadline of Friday, September 20, 2024.
The course is designed to help National Federations enhance their organisational capabilities and improve efficiency in managing sports operations. It is also a prerequisite for the Advanced Sports Management Course, making it an essential step for individuals who want to expand their expertise in the field.
Director of the NOA, Janelle Denny, said she is pleased with the response to the course, adding that it is a testament to the growing interest among sports administrators and club members in improving their sports management skills.
The upcoming sessions will be conducted on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Another Sports Administrators Course will be held in early 2025. Those interested in pursuing this course are encouraged to visit the BOA’s website and social media for updates.
