BOA President, Steve Stoute was recently honoured by the South American Sports Organization and the Peruvian Olympic Committee. Stoute was recognized for his leadership of the Caribbean Association of National Olympic Committees (CANOC) during an Extraordinary General Assembly of ODESUR held in Lima, Peru on December 5.
Stoute was also recently elected First Vice President of the Central American and Caribbean Sports Organization (CACSO), which is the oldest regional sports entity in the world. CACSO is the owner of the Central American and Caribbean Games. The election took place at the Annual General Assembly held in Barranquilla, Colombia. The full Board elected was as follows:
