Ryan Brathwaite has dedicated over a decade to governance and development within the Olympic, Paralympic, and Commonwealth Sport Movements. He currently serves as the Regional Development Manager for the Americas & Caribbean at Commonwealth Sport, partnering with 21 Commonwealth Sport Associations, and is the President of the Paralympic Association of Barbados. Ryan’s service to the BOA includes chairing the Marketing & Communications Commission, where he spearheaded the BOA’s first brand logo refresh in over 70 years; serving on the Allocations & Funding and BiiG Commissions; and serving as a facilitator on the BOA Sport Administration Courses. His leadership record includes terms as a Board Director of the National Sports Council and Secretary of the Caribbean Games Technical Commission.
