Chef de Mission and BOA General Manager, Glyne Clarke yesterday announced the Barbados Team members for the Youth Olympic Games (YOG) scheduled for Buenos Aires, Argentina in October. They are Jack Kirby (Swimming), Luis Sebastian-Weekes (Swimming), Sarah Belle (Athletics) and Darian Clarke (Athletics).
This announcement was attended by Minister of Creative Economy, Culture and Sport, John King, BOA President Sandra Osborne SCM, QC, Argentina’s Ambassador to Barbados Gustavo Pandiani, and Daneka Headley who will be attending as the International Olympic Committee Young Change Maker of Barbados.
Other members of the YOG 2018 contingent are team doctor, Carl Ward, athletics coach and manager, Brian Holder, swimming coach and manager, Aisha Norville.
