The Barbados Olympic Association Inc.(BOA) formally welcomed Professor Julio Mendieta Cuellar, head coach of the Cuban Olympic wrestling team during a courtesy visit to the BOA. Professor Cuella came to Barbados to lead a five-day Olympic Wrestling Workshop which was held from August 29 to September 2.
His meeting with senior BOA officials and president of the Barbados Wrestling Association(BWA), focussed on devising a plan of action to develop wrestling in Barbados. During the visit, the professor took a tour of the Olympic Museum.
